The awkward moment....

I've been wanting to post these awesome eCard photos..... *Created by Tim*
P.S. None of these moments are awkward for Tim.

Timcident

As Tim pours out the whole (almost) chalk bucket and he just watches Rick cleans it up for him! TYPICAL ;) but pretty entertaining indeed!
I think he benched over 600 lbs that day after the incident!

Totts and Bob Olympic Lifting Bonanza

Hey Folks,

Bob here! Well, better late than never, here are some videos from the Don Wilson Golden West Open (also, results http://www.lifttilyadie.com/Results/12GldWst.htm). Yep, the meet was in Redding. On a Sunday. And they ran late (heavy dudes weight class finished around 9:30pm, so awesome). But otherwise, it was totally awesome - lots of people, a great environment, and some very very strong people.

Totts competed in the loaded 63kg women weight class, and hit 5 of her 6 lifts! This video is of her 53kg (117 lbs) attempt, which she narrowly missed (sorry Totts the other videos I have are from farther away, thought this would be cooler!).

Totts, send me the videos your mom took of your C&J and we can put one of those up here too!

I competed in the 105kg weight class and did OK. Ahh enough talking, here are videos. First, 127kg C&J - a new personal comp PR.

And finally the 131kg C&J attempt - would have been a lifetime PR but my bird arms / baby traps / cowardice got in the way. Next time, head through for sure.

I'm sure I've said this to anyone who has asked, but the competitions are a ton of fun. We're planning on going to another one in February, so go get yourself a singlet for Christmas and join us!

Hero WOD Thursdays - Tommy Mac

We had a pretty good turnout at 6am considering how dark and cold it was outside. Guess we better get use to it. Winter is finally here to stay.

So this is what went down:

12 Burpees
12 Hang Squat Clean 115/75#

Bob and Tim were on turbo mode. They probably finished around 19+ minutes while the rest of us were around 30 minutes.

Hero WOD Thursdays - "JT" (Plus Some)

Do you know who the very first CrossFit Hero WOD is dedicated to? I didn't know either... Well, it's this dude, JT, Petty Officer 1st Class Jeff Taylor (30 yrs young) of Little Creek, VA who was killed in Afghanistan June 2005. We honored him this morning.

"JT"

Our Medical Industry per T.W.

As you all may have noticed that big Tim doesn't mind voicing his opinion(s) whether you want to hear it or not..... here's Tim's little two cents on our "Medical Industry"..... let's hear it:
(IMPORTANT NOTE: posting this video on this blog definitely does not show supporting Mr. Tim's opinion.... absolutely NOT....this is for the purpose of pure entertainment)

10/04/2012- PROWLER PUKER

So, this is what Big Tim came up with this morning for the morning crew:

"Push the prowler until someone pukes their fuckin' brains out... Then everyone else shoulders stones until their arms bleed."~T.W.

Not that many people showed up today.... only 7 of us!

WE DID:

12 Rounds of:

100 meter prowler push
As many shoulder stone until the person pushing the prowler returns

The girls pushed 270 lbs.
The boys did 310 lbs.

......... and this didn't happen today!

GREETINGS!

(Imagine holding a beer)

"So, here's to all of the morning crew that reaffirms the faith in the human race(although a tad dramatic, you get the point)." ~A.T.
